Palestinians suffocate as Israeli forces storm Balata camp in Nablus

Alanbatnews - A number of Palestinians on Wednesday suffered suffocation after Israeli forces stormed Balata refugee camp east of the West Bank city of Nablus, a Palestinian source said.

In a press statement, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the Israeli forces raided the camp at dawn, adding clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers, who fired bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters, leaving a number of Palestinians suffocated.

"Red Crescent crew treated the injured on the scene" the statement added.
