AMMAN - Jordan's Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship announced that the latest update to the Sanad application includes a new service enabling users to request data updates.
According to a statement released by the ministry on its Facebook page, the new feature allows users to submit requests to correct incomplete or inaccurate information in their documents directly through the application.
These requests are then sent to the relevant authority, which will proceed to update the data in accordance with established procedures.
The ministry has stated its intention to digitize 80% of government services, equivalent to 1,920 services, by the end of 2025. To date, more than two million digital identities have been activated through the Sanad government application.
The Sanad application was initially launched in February 2020 as part of the government's economic program, aimed at supporting electronic services and improving the business environment. Since its launch, the application has undergone several updates to address initial operational challenges.
