Gaza Children Return Home After Medical Treatment in Jordan

A group of children from Gaza has returned home after completing medical treatment in Jordanian hospitals, crossing the King Hussein Bridge on Wednesday with their families.

The group consisted of 10 young patients accompanied by 18 family members. They received specialized medical care under the supervision of Jordanian medical teams, following approved treatment protocols and in coordination with relevant authorities.

According to hospital medical reports, all patients completed their treatment programs, receiving the highest levels of medical attention, as did their relatives.

Jordan has stated since the initiative's launch that patients and their companions would return to Gaza after completing treatment, allowing Jordan to evacuate new groups of patients for treatment in the Kingdom. This embodies Jordan's unwavering support for Palestinians, helping them remain on their land and ensuring Jordan does not contribute to their displacement.

The families expressed their gratitude to Jordan and King Abdullah II, praising the Jordanian medical corridor initiative for providing medical assistance to the people of Gaza, alleviating their children's suffering, and restoring hope to families facing difficult health conditions.

Hundreds of Gazan children continue their medical treatment in Jordan since the beginning of medical evacuation operations, which commenced in March 2024.

The Jordanian Armed Forces continue to conduct medical evacuations from the Gaza Strip. To date, a total of 635 children, accompanied by 1598 family members, have been transferred for treatment in Jordanian hospitals.
