Tkiyet Um Ali, a Jordanian non-profit organization, delivers humanitarian aid to approximately 100,000 individuals across the Kingdom each month, according to Yasmin Nazzal, Director of Community Partnerships and the Palestine Program at Tkiyet Um Ali.
Speaking on the “Voice of the Kingdom” program, Nazzal stated that Tkiyet Um Ali distributes around 20,000 food parcels monthly to impoverished families throughout the year, spanning various governorates. These distributions are carried out in collaboration with charitable organizations to ensure aid reaches a broad spectrum of beneficiaries.
The food parcels contain 22 essential food items, with quantities adjusted based on the size of the beneficiary family, ensuring their nutritional needs are met for an entire month, Nazzal explained.
Furthermore, Tkiyet Um Ali organizes Ramadan tables (Mawa’ed Al Rahman), benefiting approximately 10,000 fasting individuals daily, both within Jordan and in the Gaza Strip. This initiative has been an annual tradition since the organization's inception.
Nazzal also highlighted Tkiyet Um Ali’s commitment to efficiency through automation, maintaining a database of nearly a quarter of a million individuals. This enables the organization to tailor its humanitarian aid distribution based on the specific needs and preferences of each family, allowing for a diverse range of services to be provided to each unique case.
