Umniah by Beyon company, celebrated Jordan’s top Tawjihi students this year
during a special episode of Roya TV’s Caravan, sharing in their
achievement and celebrating alongside their families. As part of the
celebration, Umniah awarded six top students six free 5G subscriptions, each
valid for one full year, supporting them as they begin a new chapter filled
with opportunities and ambition. The
recognition reflects Umniah’s belief that its role in supporting young people
goes beyond celebrating their achievements. It is also about empowering them to
pursue what comes next through connectivity and technology, supporting
education, and creating opportunities that help them prepare for the future. Dina Al
Daoud, Director of Brand and Corporate Communications at Umniah, said: "Today,
we are not celebrating a rank or a grade; we are celebrating the ambition, hard
work, and determination behind this achievement. While Tawjihi is an important
milestone, it is only the beginning. These young people now have a world of
choices and opportunities ahead of them, and our role is to provide the
technology and connectivity that can help them go further.” She added:
"This is why Umniah chose to offer the top students a free 5G subscription for
an entire year. We want to be there for them as they take their next steps,
giving them connectivity that opens up greater opportunities to learn, explore
AI, and develop their skills and ideas. As we celebrate those who have achieved
the most, we wanted to give them the best in return. We provide the technology
and connectivity; their ambition and ideas will determine how far they go.” This
commitment is backed by Umniah’s investment of nearly JOD 300 million in
developing its network and digital infrastructure, as well as its recognition
as Jordan’s Best Mobile Network by Ookla®, the global leader in connectivity
intelligence and network performance analysis. Umniah’s
commitment to empowering young people extends beyond connectivity. In
education, the company is working with the Ministry of Education to support
digital transformation and the digitalization of Tawjihi exams by providing and
equipping the necessary technology infrastructure across 500 schools and 800
classrooms and laboratories nationwide. Through
its Youth Unit, a program run entirely by university students, Umniah also
gives young people the opportunity to gain meaningful hands-on experience while
still at university. Over the years, thousands of students have participated in
the program, developing practical skills and experience that help prepare them
for the job market. From
school and university to the workplace, Umniah aims to be part of Jordanian
youth’s journey by providing the connectivity, technology, and experience they
need to turn ambition into opportunity and achievement. This is
the same spirit reflected in Umniah’s Darb Al Asateer initiative; a
belief that Jordan is full of talent and potential capable of achieving
extraordinary things and creating stories worth telling.
