Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has engaged in discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Sudanese leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan regarding the escalating military tensions in the region and their potential ramifications for both regional and international security.

During a telephone call with Prince Mohammed bin Salman, President Erdogan conveyed Turkey's condemnation of the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia. He also reaffirmed Turkey's rejection of any actions that undermine the Kingdom's sovereignty and stability, according to state media.

Erdogan expressed his support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its security and its citizens.

Separately, Prince Mohammed bin Salman also discussed the escalating military situation with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council, via telephone. Al-Burhan voiced Sudan's denunciation of the attacks on Saudi territory and reiterated Sudan's solidarity with the Kingdom.

The discussions follow attacks that occurred in Riyadh and the Eastern Province, coinciding with similar attacks on other Gulf capitals and Jordan.

In response to the attacks, Saudi Arabia affirmed its commitment to taking all necessary measures to defend its security, protect its territories, and safeguard its residents, including the option of retaliating against the aggression.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement expressing the Kingdom's strong condemnation of the attacks targeting the Riyadh region and the Eastern Province. The Ministry asserted that these attacks are unjustifiable under any pretext, particularly given Saudi Arabia's prior communication with Iranian authorities, assuring them that its airspace and territory would not be used to target Iran.

Saudi Arabia also denounced the violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan.

The Kingdom reiterated its complete solidarity and support for these nations, offering its full capabilities to assist them in any measures they undertake, while also cautioning against the severe consequences of continued violations of national sovereignty and international law.
