A Jordanian ministerial delegation has concluded a series of meetings in Madrid aimed at bolstering economic partnerships and attracting foreign investment to the Kingdom.

The delegation, which included Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Investment Tariq Abu Ghazaleh, Jordanian Ambassador to Spain Raghad Al-Saqqaf, and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment Zaher Al-Qatarneh, engaged with high-ranking Spanish government officials, leading economic and business institutions, and private sector representatives.

The discussions centered on strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Jordan and Spain, with the Jordanian side highlighting key investment opportunities within the Kingdom.

Specifically, the delegation met with Spanish Minister of Economy, Trade, and Business Carlos Cuerpo Caballero, and Secretary of State for Trade Amparo López Senovilla to explore avenues for enhanced collaboration.

Meetings also took place with President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, responsible for industry, trade, and investment, José Luis Bonet, President of the International Relations Committee at the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Marta Blanco, and Director of the European Commission Representation in Spain, Daniel Calleja.

Jordanian officials presented the Kingdom's investment potential, particularly in renewable energy, green hydrogen, water, infrastructure, and technology sectors. They emphasized Jordan's competitive investment climate, incentives, and support for long-term partnerships.

These efforts are part of an ongoing government initiative to solidify Jordan's position as a reliable partner and regional hub for attracting quality investments, ahead of the anticipated Jordanian-European Investment Conference scheduled for April 21.
