Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II received Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Marka Airport in Amman on Tuesday, marking the start of the president's visit to the Kingdom.
During his stay, President Subianto is scheduled to meet with King Abdullah II to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
Upon the president's arrival, he was greeted by Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Qudah, who also heads the delegation of honor accompanying the Indonesian leader. Also present were Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh, Governor of the Capital Yasser Al-Adwan, Director of the Crown Prince's Office Zaid Baqain, and Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan, Ade Padmo Sarwono.
As the Indonesian presidential aircraft entered Jordanian airspace, it was escorted by Royal Jordanian Air Force F-16 fighter jets, extending a formal welcome to the visiting president.
