JERUSALEM - The Israeli military reported that several rockets were launched from Lebanon into northern Israel on Monday, triggering sirens in multiple locations.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the rocket launches via Telegram, stating, "Sirens sounded in several areas in northern Israel following launches from Lebanon. Details are under review."
Senior officials, as quoted by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, indicated a strong retaliatory response is anticipated. "We will respond forcefully to the rocket fire from Lebanon," officials stated.
