Jordan Army Prioritizes Technical, Operational Capabilities Upgrade

Jordan's military is prioritizing the development of its technical and operational capabilities to enhance readiness and performance, according to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti.

During a visit to the Prince Hassan bin Talal Armored Brigade/60, Al-Hunaiti emphasized that creating a suitable environment for performance and achievement is a strategic priority. This focus aims to enable the armed forces to continue performing their national mission efficiently and maintaining the highest levels of readiness to defend the nation's security and stability.

Al-Hunaiti received a briefing on the progress of assigned duties and tasks, the level of operational and logistical readiness, and future plans in line with ongoing development and modernization efforts within the armed forces. He also inspected several buildings and facilities under construction at the brigade headquarters, urging adherence to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and speed.

These projects, Al-Hunaiti affirmed, align with the General Command's vision of providing a modern military infrastructure and an integrated work and training environment. Such improvements are intended to enhance the readiness of units and support their ability to carry out various duties with high professionalism.

Accompanied by senior military officers, Al-Hunaiti joined personnel from the Unmanned Systems Group for evening prayers and Iftar. He conveyed the greetings and appreciation of King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and commended their efforts in supporting various units and formations.
