Explosions reverberated across Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait on Monday, amid escalating tensions in the Gulf region.

The strikes have impacted airports, ports, hotels and residential buildings since Saturday, drawing widespread condemnation.

In Bahrain, the Interior Ministry reported that Iranian strikes resulted in one fatality. Debris from a missile, intercepted by air defenses, ignited a fire on a foreign vessel in Salman City, leading to the death of one worker and severe injuries to two others, according to the ministry.

Casualties have been reported across the Gulf states since Saturday, with a total of five deaths. Kuwait reported one death and 34 injuries, while the UAE reported three deaths involving a Pakistani, a Nepali, and a Bangladeshi national, along with 58 injuries.

Reporters from Agence France-Presse (AFP) confirmed hearing powerful explosions in Doha, Manama, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait City.

The incidents follow escalating tensions and accusations of Iranian targeting of neighboring Gulf states in response to actions against it.
