Royal Jordanian Airlines stated on Saturday that its flight schedules remain unchanged and no flights have been canceled as long as Jordanian airspace remains open.
The announcement comes as several countries in the region closed their airspace on Saturday following reports of an Israeli strike on Iran, a move intended to protect civilian flights and ensure air traffic safety.
Earlier on Saturday, Israel announced it had launched a “pre-emptive” attack against Iran, while Iran's Fars news agency reported three explosions in central Tehran.
Following the activation of alerts across the country, Israel’s Home Front Command stated, “Due to the security situation, please identify the safest place near you, install the Home Front Command application, and avoid unnecessary travel. Continue to follow the instructions and monitor information through official channels.”
