Al Ramtha Draw with Al Ahli, Al Jazeera Thrashes Al Salt in Jordan League

Al Ramtha and Al Ahli played to a 2-2 draw in a thrilling match, while Al Jazeera dominated Al Salt with a 4-0 victory in the Jordan Professional Football League.

The draw sees Al Ramtha maintain their lead in the league standings, though they missed an opportunity to extend their advantage. Al Ahli, meanwhile, will be disappointed not to have secured all three points as they fight to climb the table.

Al Ahli's Hamza Al-Naeem opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, followed by Ahmed Abu Kabeer in the 81st. Al Ramtha responded with goals from Majd Al-Zaabi in the 77th minute and Hamza Al-Dardour in the 87th, salvaging a point for the league leaders at Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid.

In the other match, Al Jazeera showcased their attacking prowess with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Al Salt at Amman International Stadium. Khaled Al-Dardour scored in the 16th minute, followed by Abdul Rahman Mar’ei in the 73rd, Yahya Al-Bukhit in the 90th and Yaseen Al-Bukhit in added time.

Following the results, Al Ramtha now have 34 points, solidifying their position at the top of the league table. Al Ahli moved to 11 points but remain in ninth place. Al Jazeera's victory brings them to 18 points, tied for sixth place with Al Baqa'a, while Al Salt remain in fifth place with 19 points.
