Jordan's national football team, known as the Nashama, is finalizing its preparations for the 2026 World Cup with a series of friendly matches and a preparatory tournament.
The team will face Switzerland on Sunday, May 31, in St. Gallen, followed by a match against Colombia on Sunday, June 7, in San Diego, USA. Following the friendlies, the team will set up its official World Cup camp in Portland, USA.
Prior to these matches, the Jordan Football Association is organizing a four-nation friendly tournament in Amman in March. Alongside Jordan, the tournament will feature Iran, Nigeria, and Costa Rica.
According to the tournament schedule, Jordan will play Costa Rica on Friday, March 27, at King Abdullah II Stadium. On the same day, Iran will face Nigeria at Amman International Stadium.
Jordan will then play Nigeria on Tuesday, March 31, at Amman International Stadium, while Iran will face Costa Rica at King Abdullah II Stadium on the same day.
This marks Jordan's first-ever participation in the World Cup, having been drawn into Group Ten alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
