Al-Hussein, Al-Ramtha Top Jordan League After Week 16

Al-Hussein and Al-Ramtha are neck and neck at the top of the Jordan Professional League standings after the conclusion of Week 16, with both teams holding 34 points.

Al-Hussein secured a 2-0 victory over Al-Wehdat to conclude the week's action. Ashley Kofi scored in the 34th minute, followed by Mohammad Taha in the 81st minute, sealing the win for Al-Hussein.

In other matches, Al-Faisaly defeated Al-Baqa'a 3-1. Mohammad Ibrahim Qassem scored twice for Al-Faisaly in the 11th and 30th minutes, with Ahmad Ersan adding another in the 15th minute. Khaled Sayahin scored Al-Baqa'a's lone goal in the 68th minute.

Al-Jazeera dominated Al-Salt with a 4-0 victory. Khaled Jameel opened the scoring in the 15th minute, followed by Abdulrahman Mar'ei in the 73rd minute, Yahya Al-Bakhit in the 88th minute, and Yassin Al-Bakhit in the 90th minute.

Meanwhile, Al-Ramtha and Al-Ahli played to a 2-2 draw. Hamza Al-Dardour scored twice for Al-Ramtha in the 77th and 87th minutes, while Hamza Al-Naim scored for Al-Ahli in the 53rd minute, and Ahmad Abu Kabeer found the net in the 81st minute.

The match between Al-Sarhan and Shabab Al-Ordon ended in a goalless draw.

Following Al-Hussein and Al-Ramtha at the top, Al-Faisaly sits in third place with 33 points, followed by Al-Wehdat with 30 points. Al-Salt has 19 points, while Al-Jazeera and Al-Baqa'a each have 18 points. Shabab Al-Ordon holds 14 points, Al-Ahli has 11 points, and Al-Sarhan is at the bottom with 5 points.
