The services designed and delivered by our 18,000 employees in 17 countries are the seeds of change that help strengthen social, digital, financial and energy inclusion far beyond our 149 million customers, empowering everyone to use them to confidently shape the future that's right for them.
The millions of opportunities available to young people, women and entrepreneurs through our free inclusion initiatives are also seeds of change. They include digital literacy, training in new jobs to reduce unemployment, and assistance in finding a job, starting or developing a startup or income-generating activity. This is reflected in the more than one million beneficiaries of the Orange Digital Center program, the 600,000 students in digital schools and the thousands of women supported by the Orange Foundation's Digital Centers each year.
As a committed local player, OMEA promotes shared and sustainable development, making a significant contribution to national GDPs and paying particular attention to the needs of local communities and the preservation of the environment. Its 17 subsidiaries and their employees are actively involved in reforestation activities linked to local socio-economic development. They also help improve living conditions and access to health services, sport and culture, thereby strengthening the resilience of the most vulnerable populations.

Orange Jordan’s contributions to these milestones, grouped in three categories namely digital inclusion, financial inclusion, and environmental inclusion, were highlighted in the report.
In Jordan, Orange Digital Centers contributed to enhancing the skills of 7500 participants. Orange Jordan continued its efforts to encourage women’s participation in the ICT sector. On the environmental front, the Solar Farms project, present in 3 premium locations, generated 52% of the company’s energy needs. Orange supported the national green efforts through collaborating with the Ministry of Agriculture on the national afforestation project by planting more than 2,000 trees in an area of up to 2.9 hectares.
The report issued by Orange OMEA valued Orange Jordan’s tireless efforts to enable more than one million customers to get access to its fiber services, in addition to the reference to the one-year anniversary of the 5G launch in Jordan. Moreover, the number of users of the Orange Money wallet reached one million users and it dominated the Jordanian market interms of the open accounts.In addition to all this, "jood Orange" application turned one year and it was mainly launched to enhance the digital experience for subscribers.
Orange Middle East and Africa chose "Seeds of Change" as the title of its report to highlight the millions of opportunities that have been created for young women and men and entrepreneurs through a series of free initiatives that included digital literacy, training for employment, supporting young women and men to join the labor market or explore other career options such as entrepreneurship, which constitute seeds to achieve the desired change in societies. The positive effects of these initiatives were on more than 600,000 students who attended schools. In addition to supporting thousands of women through the Orange's Digital Women's Centers.
