Ministers of Works and Education examine the workflow of school building projects

On Sunday, the Ministers of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Maher Abu al-Samman, Education and Education, Dr. Azmi Governorate, discussed the reality of working on a number of school building projects and future plans in the field of educational projects.

The Ministers heard a presentation by the Ministry of Works' stakeholders on the latest actions and developments of infrastructure realities and the future plan for school building projects.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Works, Dr. Jamal Katichat, the Ministers conducted a financial and technical study to compare the financial cost of modelled school buildings (Precast) and traditional school buildings.

The Ministers were briefed on the procedures for study bidding projects and the preparation of documents for the school buildings to be submitted to the classified and qualified consultants, the bids to be completed and planned for the next period.

During the meeting, the Ministers stressed the importance of overcoming obstacles and accelerating achievement in schools under implementation, convening a weekly and periodic meeting between the two ministries' stakeholders and reporting to ensure the speedy completion of these projects within the cost and contractual period and activating the contractual procedures of the late projects.
