Global gold prices settled above $1,900 on Wednesday, after
a slight decline in the dollar and stabilization of U.S. Treasury yields.
According to Bloomberg Economic Agency, gold in spot
transactions rose 0.1% to $1,900.09 per ounce, further away from last week's
five-month low, and U.S. gold futures increased 0.1% to $1,928.60.
For other precious metals, silver in spot transactions
increased 0.4% to $23.49 an ounce, platinum rose 0.1% to $920.04, while
palladium settled at $1260.23.
