Ajloun and Dibbin: Natural reserves turned into hotbeds of economic development

The director of
Ajloun and Dibbin reserves, Engineer Bashir Al-Ayasra, said that the natural
reserves have turned into centers of economic and social development through
the opportunities they secure and attract for many projects.
Al-Ayasrah added, in
an interview with the Jordan News Agency (Petra), On Friday, that Ajloun and
Dibbin reservations are one of the leading reserves in the fields of tourism
work through multiple tourism projects that attract visitors from Jordan and
the region in general, which contributed to supporting efforts to protect the
development of society and environmental systems that are considered among the
systems unique at the national and regional level.
He pointed to the importance of the efforts being made for
environmental development and awareness, and the initiatives implemented
through national and local institutions, and the intensification of the role of
the media to highlight national efforts in this field, pointing to the
importance of awareness and intensification of monitoring, in joint efforts
with the Ministry of Agriculture, environmental police, environment offices,
and administrative rulers to protect reserves from fires.
He stressed that the presence of more than one tourist
activity in the reserves made it an integrated tourist region, which
constitutes a real opportunity for investment and attracting large numbers of
tourists and visitors coming to the reserves, indicating that the Ajloun
Reserve is witnessing 100% occupancy, especially at the end of the week, due to
the services it provides.
