For the first time in Jordan and the region, the Arab Bank launches the “Visa Arabi Switch” digital card in cooperation with Visa

 The Arab Bank recently launched, in cooperation with Visa, the world leader in digital payments, the "Visa Arabi Switch” digital plastic card, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom and the region, as it combines credit cards and direct payment cards from the Arab Bank in one card with the possibility Adding those cards belonging to the customer’s accounts with the Arab Bank inside and outside Jordan within the "Arabi without Borders” program, which includes the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Palestine and Lebanon.

 The launch of this card is part of the Bank's strategy to develop its digital payment system as well as provide flexible and sophisticated banking solutions to its customers through innovative and comprehensive solutions that meet their renewed needs and requirements.

 The "Visa Arabi Switch” digital plastic card provides an innovative and new way to pay with the highest degree of ease and security, as the new card includes a digital screen and interactive arrows to move between the cards that have been linked to it, whether credit cards or direct payment cards, while showing the details of the card that has been selected.

 It also contains a special button that displays the phone numbers of customer service centers on the screen, in addition to the possibility of using the contactless feature on ATMs and points of sale.

Commenting on the launch of this service, Mr. Yacoub Maatouk, Head of Retail Banking Services at Arab Bank - Jordan, said: "The launch of this new digital card, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, is a pioneering step that reflects the bank’s commitment to adopting the latest technological solutions in the banking industry.” and employing them to serve their customers.” He added: "The digital plastic Visa Arabi Switch card is a qualitative addition to the series of unique digital solutions provided by the Arab Bank, which makes it easier for its customers to carry more than one card within one card while traveling to different countries, and to enjoy an advanced banking experience that saves time and effort.”
