Road Transport Authority directs to speed up work and avoid passengers waiting under the sun

The Director General of the Terrestrial Transport Regulatory Authority, Abdul Rahim Al-Arikat, said that the Authority instructed all observers at major complexes, departure and arrival centers to expedite giving daily permits, and not to let passengers wait long in the sun.

He told the Jordanian News Agency (PETRA) on Saturday that the Authority was committed to all government decisions regarding prevailing weather conditions and unprecedented warming.

He added that the Authority is keen to ensure that there is no overcrowding at the points of departure and access, noting the cooperation with the Department of Traffic to avoid traffic crises and facilitate traffic, to reach buses for loading stops as soon as possible.
