Al-Kharabsheh follows up on the projects and initiatives of the Ministry of Energy in the vision of economic modernization

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh
Al-Kharabsheh, stressed the importance of the mining sector as a sector that
possesses high industrial value, pointing out that the ministry will continue
to sign targeted memorandums of understanding during the current year to
exploit mineral resources and open the door for investment in silica ore and
basalt.
This came during Minister Kharabsheh's chairing, on Sunday,
the periodic meeting to follow up on the projects and initiatives of the energy
and mining sectors contained in the economic modernization vision for the year
2023.
During the meeting, Kharabsheh was briefed on the status of
the projects and their follow-up procedures, which showed the progress of work
in them according to the specified timetable, stressing the importance of
following up on the actions taken by representatives of partners from
government agencies to ensure completion within the time frame.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the
Ministry, Eng. Amani Al-Azzam, the Assistant Secretary for Energy Affairs, Eng.
Hassan Al-Hiyari, and representatives of government agencies to follow up on
the projects of the energy and mining sectors in the vision.
