A development project is an organized effort between a group of adults or institutions with a corporate identity for the purpose of achieving a useful service, providing tangible production, or creating a positive impact for the benefit of a specific group in society, and its results can be measured and its impact socially and economically evaluated. Many important development projects are being implemented in Jordan in various fields, most notably the project to develop the Aqaba economic region, the sea water desalination project, the express bus project, the nuclear energy project, the agricultural development project, and several projects in the fields of education, health, housing, community development and technology. Jordan seeks to establish a number of development zones that aim to establish various economic activities commensurate with the competitive advantages enjoyed by each zone. These zones distributed throughout the Kingdom are supervised by development companies whose mission is to organize the advisory process, whereby the development companies carry out their work. Under the direct supervision of the Investment Commission, the main objective of establishing development projects in Jordan is to create job opportunities for specialized competencies, as there are 16 development zones under construction in Jordan. The goal is to implement development projects by non-governmental organizations for their ability to identify the needs of poor communities and facilitate participation Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development implements development projects in many areas in Jordan, including Birin and Hawshaw, the Nour Al-Hussein Foundation to work in Quweira and Azraq, and the Association of Social Development Centers to work in Al-Ruwaishid and Al-Dhaleel, and the purpose of implementing these projects, specifically by non-governmental institutions for their ability  To address the needs of poor communities and facilitate local participation in development.  Where the field teams, in partnership with the productivity enhancement centers (Irada) deployed in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, studied the social and economic conditions of these areas and identified the problems, needs and priorities of these development areas according to their importance.. His Majesty King Abdullah II appreciated the support provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).  For development projects in Jordan, as it is a model for successful partnership in development and economic programs, and in order to achieve the visions of His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect him, the Jordanian Free Zones and Development Zones Group has focused on developing and developing the local communities of free zones and development zones through attracting productive and qualitative investment projects that support  Sustainable economic and social development in the Kingdom ..
