 Al Faisali team was singled out for a six-point lead in Jordan Centennial Shield Cup after beating Shabab A-lAqaba (4-0), with the second week of the tournament being held at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa.

Aljalil tied with Al Ahly (1-1), earning its first point in the tournament to be the tenth, while Al Ahli remained third along with the Al-Wehdat with four points. 

Muheer Al-Sarhan beat Ma’an (2-1), so Muheer Al-Sarhan got its first 3 points in the tournament, while Ma'an remained in last place without points.

The match between Ramtha and Shabab Al-Ordon ended in a tie (1-1) to settle in second with 4 points, while the Shabab Al-Ordon remained at a point in the 9th place.

Sahab won against Al-Salt (2-0), raising its score to 3 points to come in fifth place, while Al-Salt remained in the penultimate place by one point. Al-Wehdat tied with Al Hussein Irbid (1-1), bringing Al Hussein Irbid's score to two points to come in the 8th position.

The tournament is held in a single stage split league system, with the title being crowned by the team with the highest number of points, with each club playing 11 games during the tournament.

The 36th edition of the tournament was dubbed the "Centennial Shield" by the Jordanian Federation, coinciding with the 100 years since the founding of the country of Jordan. This edition has a new system that ensures an increase in the number of matches for all teams.
