Kuwait condemns the storming and vandalism of its embassy in Sudan

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the residence of the
head of the military office at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait, for storming
and vandalism, on Monday evening.
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted Kuwait's foreign affairs on Tuesday as
condemning and denouncing the attack on the headquarters of the head of the
military office and all forms of violence and vandalism, especially those
targeting the headquarters of diplomatic missions and their buildings, which is
a flagrant violation of international norms and rules of international law and
the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
The Ministry renewed its call to the official authorities and concerned
parties in the brotherly Republic of Sudan to quickly take measures to provide
full protection for the headquarters of diplomatic missions, ensure the
sanctity of their buildings and properties, and the safety of the security of
their staff, and punish the perpetrators of these raids.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the
Arab States of the Gulf , Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi , condemned the storming of
the Kuwaiti embassy in Khartoum, calling on all parties in Sudan to take
immediate and necessary measures to protect diplomats and diplomatic
headquarters.
