With the support of Amman Chamber of Industry Jordan Participates in medical supply exhibition in Kazakhstan

A Jordanian industrial delegation from industrial companies working in the sector of therapeutic industries and medical supplies, participates in the 28th edition of KIHE 2023.It is an exhibition specialized in medical supplies and held in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, with wide international participation.

The representative of therapeutic industries and medical supply sector in the Jordan Chamber of Industry Dr. Fadi Al-Atrash stressed the importance of Jordan's participation in this exhibition. Moreover, Amman Chamber of Industry, provided its support in this first participation from Jordan. Jordanian companies have never participated in previous editions. This participation is aimed at identifying Central Asian markets and the export opportunities available for Jordanian products in these promising markets. He hoped that during this exhibition successful trade deals will be closed by Jordanian companies participating.

‏Dr. Al-Atrash added that Jordan's medical supplies sector is one of the sub-sectors of the pharmaceutical industries. It is characterized by the diversity and quality of its products. Its exports amount to about $75 million annually, while its domestic sales amount to about $42 million. Its products include sanitizers, disinfectants, masks, diagnostic kits, hearing aids, optics, nutritional supplements, vitamins, orthodontic devices, and medical consumables.
