The Arab Bank recently supported the charity Iftars that the
Children's Museum Jordan holds for groups of children, in coordination with a
number of charities and orphanages.
This support comes from the Arab Bank within the framework
of its social responsibility program, which deals with a range of issues that
are consistent with the values of citizenship and social responsibility related
to them.
A team of Arab Bank volunteers participated in organizing
the Iftars, where the activities included an integrated experience for children
amidst Ramadan decorations and an entertaining and interactive atmosphere that
allows children to benefit from educational and exploratory offers inside the
spacious exhibition hall, which includes more than 190 interesting interactive
exhibits (interactive models).
The charity Iftar program sponsored by the Arab Bank also
included a special segment of the storyteller, who presented tales and stories
to the children in an interesting manner, followed by an Iftar meal that
brought together both the children and the Bank’s employees, who in turn
presented beautiful and souvenir gifts to each child at the end of the
event.
It should be noted here that the Arab Bank adopts a
comprehensive and integrated strategy in terms of sustainability that reflects
the bank's keenness to enhance its economic, social and environmental impact by
working closely with various relevant authorities in order to achieve
sustainable development.
The Arab Bank's social responsibility program
"Together" is one of the fruits of this approach, it is a
multi-faceted program that focuses on contributing to the development of
various aspects of society through various initiatives and activities that
contribute to serving several sectors, namely health, poverty alleviation,
environmental protection, education, and support for orphans.
