The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al thani, said that his country is currently communicating intensively with Jordan, Egypt and America with the aim of deterring the Zionist occupation from its violations in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He added, in a comprehensive interview with Qatar TV on Thursday, the first since assuming the position of prime minister, that the increase in direct income for citizens drains public budgets, indicating that 90 percent of Qatari citizens in the labor market work in the government sector, which has limited capacity to absorb.

He pointed out that about 7,000 citizens were employed last year, of whom 5,200 were in the government sector, and the rest in the private sector.

He pointed out that the government will provide jobs annually, but it must open up to the private sector, which must also provide opportunities for citizens.

He added that Qatar considers the great success it achieved in organizing the 2022 World Cup as a starting point and not the end, and there are big and ambitious plans to open up the economy, tourism and development in various fields.
