“United States Department of Justice” investigates the leak of secret documents concerning the Russian-Ukrainian War

The US Department of Justice has opened an investigation to try to determine the source of the leak of classified documents, especially related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which were published this week on social media, according to the Washington Post.

According to the first conclusions, these leaks do not only include reports and documents related to the conflict in Ukraine but also relate to very sensitive analyzes regarding the allies of the United States.

A spokesman for the ministry told international news agencies, "We have reached out to the Ministry of Defense about this, and we have opened an investigation into dozens of secret documents related to the Russian-Ukrainian war, posted on Twitter, Telegram and other social networks in recent days, and new documents are still appearing.”

The Washington Post quoted US officials as saying that some of these documents were forged, but most of them are authentic and are consistent with CIA reports circulating in the White House, the Pentagon, and the State Department.
