Donald Trump: The dollar is collapsing and soon it will no longer be the global currency

Former US President Donald Trump warned of the possibility
of the collapse of the dollar as a global currency, and that this would
distance his country from its position as a superpower.
Trump said in a
populist rhetoric addressed at dawn Thursday, in the state of Florida, that the
US dollar "is losing its position, which threatens the strength and
position of the United States among the countries of the world."
He added,
"Our currency is collapsing, and soon the dollar will not be the global
currency. It is an unprecedented defeat in 200 years, and this will distance us
from our position as a superpower."
And Trump
believed that the United States is currently suffering from a "state of
chaos" represented by "the collapse of the economy, and (high)
inflation, which has become out of control."
After his
appearance in court on Tuesday, Trump returned immediately to Florida and held
a gathering with his supporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort, and said in his
speech that the only crime he committed was "fearlessly defending our
nation from those who seek to destroy it."
Trump appeared
before a New York court, where he pleaded not guilty to the 34 charges related
to the investigation into the case of payments to pornographic film actress
Stormy Daniels, in exchange for her silence in 2016.
Prosecutors alleged that Trump was part of an "illegal
conspiracy” that included paying sums of money to suppress negative information
that would harm his 2016 campaign, in addition to falsifying business records
as part of "promoting” his candidacy for the elections, according to the "CNN”
USA network.
