The dollar rises as inflation fears return

On Monday, the dollar rose in light of the return of concerns about inflation.

According to Reuters, the dollar index, which measures the US currency against six major currencies, rose 0.078 % to 103.01, crossing the threshold of 103 for the first time in a week.

The Euro fell 0.44 % to $1.0791, after touching a week low of $1.0788, and the Japanese yen fell 0.46 % to $133.41.

The pound sterling reached $1.2277, down 0.45 %, while the dollar increased 0.32 % against the Swiss franc.

On the level of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin fell in the last trading 2.43 % to $27703.00, and Ethereum fell 2.27 % to $1776.40.
