Water: Dam storage increased to 40.66%

Water: The dam storage rate increased to 114.14 million m3,
40.66% of its storage capacity.
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Jordan Valley Authority
said that the total dam storage volume on Wednesday morning raised to 114.14
million m3 by 40.66% of its full storage capacity of 280.7 million m3,
indicating that the storage in Al-Wahda Dam is 14.3 million m3 with
13.5%, Wadi Al-Arab Dam 8.2 million m3 with 49.3%, Zaqlab Dam
(Sharhabil) 1,516 million m3 with 38.2%, and Kufranja Dam 2.48
million m3 with 32%. King Talal Dam 45.8 million m3 with
a rate of 68.4%, Wadi Shuaib Dam 1,254 million m3 with a rate of
100%.
Al-Kafreen Dam 5,252 million m3 with 62%, Zarqa
Ma’in Dam 533 thousand m3 with a rate of 26.6%, Al-Wala Dam 7.1
million m3 with a rate of 28.6%, Al-Mujib Dam 22.3 million m3with a rate of 90.4%, and Al-Tanour Dam with a capacity of 4.6 million m3with a rate of 32%. Al-Lajjun Dam covers 176.6 thousand square meters, or
17.6%, and Al-Karak Dam covers 161 thousand square meters, or 8%.
The ministry called on everyone to take advantage of the
rainfall and store it, and not to connect rainwater gutters to the sewage
systems.
