During his meeting with a delegation from the Omani University Services Offices



The President of Al Al-Bayt University, Prof. Dr. Hani Al-Dmour, said that the university is witnessing a stage of development and modernization and is opening its doors to various international educational institutions and bodies, with a view to building bridges of cooperation in academic and research fields of common interest.

This came during his meeting with a delegation from the university services offices in the Sultanate of Oman.

Dr. Dmour indicated that the university continues to provide a university environment in a way that contributes to creating student and cultural diversity within the university campus, by integrating international students with Jordanian students, which works to form a student fabric and a convergence of civilizations.

Dr. Al-Dmour indicated that during the last year, the university was able to conclude more than fifty scientific and academic agreements, and they are looking forward to concluding more regional and international understandings through the university's serious pursuit of obtaining many academic credits that would contribute to advancing academic excellence. Especially since there is a unit concerned with Omani scientific affairs.

Dr. Dmour referred to the historical relationship with the Sultanate of Oman and that international students on campus receive all the care, care and attention in terms of facilitating facilities and transportation within the university campus and providing the necessary and necessary services and facilities to practice all activities.

For their part, the members of the delegation praised the academic status of Al al-Bayt University and the greatness of the name it bears as one of the ancient universities that is linked to the Sultanate through the establishment of the Omani Studies Unit, which is distinguished by the programs it offers that meet the Omani ambition and the holding of many conferences, indicating the remarkable presence of the university within Omani circles and its elevation in the scene ,the Academy of the Sultanate of Oman, through the reputation of its graduates, their competence, and their functional and administrative merit in the positions they occupy.

They pointed out the importance of cooperation and partnership with the university during the next stage, and framing this relationship with a memorandum of understanding that regulates the mechanism of work regarding attracting students from the Sultanate of Oman to study in the various colleges and academic programs of the university at the level of bachelor's, higher diploma and postgraduate studies.

On the sidelines of the meeting, an introductory video about the university, its career and the programs it offers was shown. The delegation also toured the various modern facilities inside the university campus.

The meeting was attended by the Vice President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Attin, Prof. Dr. Anwar Al-Khalidi, Director of the Omani Studies Unit, Dr. Atallah Al-Sarhan, Director of the Communication and International Marketing Department, and the Omani Students Liaison Officer, Dr. Alaa Harahsheh.
