Zain continues to support Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans for the Year 12

Zain Jordan renewed for the 12th consecutive year the memorandum of understanding it combines with Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans; to continue its contributions in support of the Fund's efforts to provide a better future for orphaned young women and men after they leave care homes, and help them become self-reliant by supporting their educational career and arming them with the skills necessary to reach self-reliance through a number of education and support programs.

The memorandum of understanding was renewed yesterday at Zain's headquarters, and was signed by Zain Jordan CEO Fahad Al Jassim, and the General Manager of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans Nour Al-Humoud. Under this memorandum, Zain will continue to provide support to cover the costs of scholarships for orphans benefiting from Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, and covering their university fees.

Zain's renewal of the memorandum of understanding in conjunction with International Women's Day confirms its continuous support for women and girls through various programs and initiatives, where the company provides university scholarships to more young women benefiting from Al-Aman Fund; to ensure a better future for them by empowering them and developing their academic skills, and arming them with science and knowledge so that they can face challenges and overcome any obstacles they may face, this is within the framework of Zain's keenness to support women and enhance their active role and contributions in society, where the percentage of young women benefiting from Zain's support for Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans from 2011 to the end of 2022 reached 70% out of 168 beneficiaries.

Zain has supported 23 young men and women in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, nursing, engineering, science and technology, mathematics, media, economics and languages, as part of her social responsibility and to continue its role in supporting the local community in all its categories, and to contribute to achieving social justice and promoting the rights of individuals, in line with the sustainable development goals adopted by the company in its various programs and initiatives, including Goal I (poverty eradication), fourth (quality education), eighth (decent work and economic growth), tenth (reducing inequalities) and seventeenth (partnerships to achieve the goals).
