Wholesale Liquefied gas price sold to industrial sector unchanged as last February

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources kept the wholesale price of liquefied petroleum gas sold to the industrial sector during March unchanged similar to last February, at JD722.74 per ton.

Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply will bear the difference in petroleum gas cost due to the one-off price hike in March, aimed to alleviating burden of production costs ravaging the local industry.

The decision was taken to keep the wholesale price of liquefied petroleum gas unchanged despite the increase in global prices of liquefied petroleum gas, which was reflected locally, amounting to JD844.69 per ton, according to Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee
