Attarat Power Company Supports "Jordan against Cancer" Campaign

Attarat Power Company is proud to announce the cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Ijameel Charity Association to help raise awareness and support in the fight against cancer in Jordan.

Together with the foundation, we have organized cancer awareness lecture campaign for the local community in Umm Ar-Rasas and company's employees.

The lecture is focused on raising the awareness of the risk of cancer and its most prominent causes, methods of prevention, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. The lecture was presented by Dr. Aseel Shakhatreh, a specialist from and it was attended by over 100 local community and employees of the company.

Attarat Power Company is the developer of 2 x 235 MW oil shale power project in Jordan (the Project). The Project is the largest inward foreign investment into Jordan of c. USD 2.1 billion. It creates more than 1,000 long term job opportunities for Jordanians.
