The Ministry of Foreign Affairs launches the electronic passport renewal service for Jordanians in Pakistan and Cyprus

 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced that, in partnership and cooperation with the Department of Civil Status and Passports and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, a service for submitting applications for issuing and renewing passports electronically has been launched for Jordanian citizens residing in Pakistan and Cyprus. 

 The ministry said in a press statement on Sunday , The launch of this service comes within the framework of partnership between the concerned government agencies to better serve citizens and facilitate and simplify procedures, and an affirmation of keenness on the process of continuous modernization and development of services provided through diplomatic missions, and as a continuation of what was previously implemented by empowering Jordanians in  A number of countries have applied for issuing and renewing their passports electronically and received them through the Jordanian missions in each of (Riyadh, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Manama, Doha, Kuwait, Washington, London, Ottawa, Canberra, Cairo, Ankara, Berlin, Moscow  , Algiers, Athens, Bucharest, Rome, Madrid, Paris, Rabat, Oslo) in addition to Nicosia and Islamabad.  

She pointed out that with the completion of launching the service of issuing and renewing passports electronically for Jordanians in 26 diplomatic missions, work is currently underway to launch this service through the Jordanian missions in Vienna, Pretoria, and Tunisia to prepare them during the next few weeks, and that this service will be launched  In all missions once all necessary procedures and arrangements are completed.  

To benefit from this service, please follow the following steps: 

1- Go to the following link: ‏https://eservices.cspd.gov.jo/index-rtl.html or by entering the official website of the Civil Status and Passports Department www.cspd.gov  .jo

 2. If you have an account, you can log in directly using your username and password and then submit the application. 

 3. If you are a new user, you will have to register a new account (through smart status card information) and then you will be able to submit the application.  

4- The head of the family can apply for all members of his family after registration. 

 5- When the application is submitted, the phrase "The application was submitted successfully” will appear.

  6- The application number and status can be obtained for follow-up through the created account.

  7- A text message will be received on the mobile phone and/or e-mail of the service recipient upon completion of the necessary approvals. 

 8- The applicant then goes to the embassy to pay the fees, cancel the old passport, and receive the new one.
