The largest floating library in the world, the Logos Hope ship, which has 4000 book titles in a variety of scientific, literary, and intellectual information, arrives at Aqaba's beaches on the 25th of this month.

On the second day of arrival, the public can participate in the ship's program, which includes the sale of books at reduced prices and the delivery of welcome gifts like bags, cups, pencils, medals, and bracelets.

Jabulani Mlambo, the project director for the floating library in Jordan, stated in press releases that when Logos Hope's sister Dulos visited the port of Aqaba in 2005, she welcomed over 33 thousand guests while expecting Logos Hope to welcome 60 thousand.
The 132-meter ship, according to Mlambo, is the largest floating library in the world and is run by a non-profit organization with headquarters in Germany with the intention of bringing knowledge and hope to every port it stops at. In the New Year, Port Said was chosen as the ship's initial destination, followed by Aqaba.

Since operating similar vessels in 1970, the organization had welcomed more than 94 million visitors. The Logos Hope, which had visited more than 480 ports in 150 different nations over the course of 13 years, continued to display the slogan "Exchange of knowledge, assistance, and hope" in every port.

It is important to note that the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority arranged a program to welcome the vessel with traditional Aqaba customs and popular folklore once it arrived.
