Engineer Fathi al-Jaghbir, the president of the Jordan and Amman Industry Chambers, emphasized the significance of the American market for Jordanian exports. The free trade agreement between the two nations, in particular, helped to grow Jordan's exports to the United States, which is now the country where its products are initially sold. More than 22% of Jordan's total exports, worth $1 billion and $700 million yearly, go to the American market.

Jaghbir demanded that exporters to the United States take advantage of the shipping service offered by the Aqaba Container Port, which guarantees that goods exported from Aqaba arrive at their destination on the east coast of the United States only in 20 to 25 days.

Through a continuous follow-up system, it tracks exported containers and attempts to remove any obstacles preventing their movement through the transit ports these containers pass through. The Chamber is hoping that this service, which came about as a consequence of repeated requests from business associations and exporters to the American market, will result in a qualitative change in the volume and caliber of Jordan's exports.

Jaghbir emphasized the need to determine Jordan's export priorities for the US market based on the productive knowledge and value, noting that this navigational line will help increase the number of containers exported to the US market and thereby improve the competitiveness of Jordanian industries in the US market, which is considered a significant and significant market and is the largest market in the world with an import volume of more than $2.5 trillion per year.

In addition to urging the use of the Fund for the Development and Support of Industry's programs to promote Jordanian industries in the American and other targeted markets and the development of Jordanian products, particularly in terms of packaging, to be more appealing to consumers, Jaghbir argued that an increase in exports from Jordan will help to alleviate the country's poverty and unemployment issues.
