Al-Shaboul: Four memorandums of understanding for mineral exploration to be signed soon

Minister of Government Communication and Cabinet Spokesman Faisal al-Shaboul said that the new city project has been allocated an estimated amount of 2 million dinars to complete studies on the project during the current year.

Speaking to "Nabd Albalad” program, Al-Shaboul stressed that the project accommodates the population increase in the capital and Zarqa, while stressing that it is linked to a new road network and environment.

He pointed out that there is a timetable for the construction of the new city.

In a separate context, he indicated that the government will agree on distributing 690 million dinars for economic projects, in accordance with the recently announced economic modernization vision.

Faisal al-Shaboul explained that the first quarter of this year will witness the holding of Arab ministerial meetings to start implementing joint projects with Iraq, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt, while tripartite cooperation (Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan) will witness the completion of joint projects such as the Joint Economic City with Iraq.

Al-Shaboul pointed out that four memoranda of understanding were signed for phosphate, potash, oil shale, and copper exploration to start work on exploration work, in addition to seven memoranda for mineral exploration that had been signed previously.
