Many citizens called on the government to maintain its decision to ban the application of TikTok in Jordan, given the moral corruption that this application caused to many young men and women in Jordan, and its effects on the course of local affairs and the destruction of the image of the peaceful reality regarding the protests and strikes that the country is witnessing as they claim, through their pages on the Facebook platform.

According to international statistics, the number of subscribers to the "TikTok" application in Jordan has reached nearly 4.5 million subscribers, which has became as alarm bells for many parents who fear for their children from contamination from its contents, which prompted many experts and specialists in sociology and psychological education to alert Parents and warn them of the dangers of this application.

It is worth mentioning that the "TikTok" application, which was launched in the year 2018, is one of the most widespread applications in a record period around the world, has become a haven for entertainment and not for acquaintance and the exchange of scientific, academic and cultural experiences, which made it a trap for those looking for speed in supply and demand for video clips, in addition to collecting money quickly regardless of the quality of the content provided, which many see as empty contents and some of them carry pornography, in addition to  Money laundering operations, according to international reports.

The Jordanian government recently decided to temporarily suspend the TikTok platform after it was misused, according to government officials during the truck drivers' strike.

Later, the Cybercrime Unit announced that it had noticed "hate speech and incitement to violence” and confirmed that anyone who publishes it will be brought to justice. Calls for chaos and attacks on law enforcement agencies and property.

And the Jordanian electronic crimes held the "TikTok” platform responsible for not dealing with the misuse of the platform by its users, whether by glorifying and spreading acts of violence or calls for chaos, and even in promoting videos from outside the Kingdom.

It has not been announced yet whether the "TikTok" application in Jordan will be closed permanently, or if social media sites will be suspended until the end of the protests that struck the country due to the fuel crisis.
