"Green cities" have aided in the preservation of the environment by lowering waste, enhancing recycling procedures, boosting housing density, expanding open space, and improving building requirements. These buildings must include a variety of environmentally friendly features, including water reuse and water harvesting technologies, energy consumption reduction, and the use of insulating materials for air conditioning and heating.
It should be noted that "green cities," which are primarily dependent on the development of so-called "green buildings," and which depend on an integrated system of procedures and solutions applied to the building's facilities, reduce energy expenditures and loss and transform them into elements beneficial to the environment.

By increasing the city's green spaces and paying attention to tree planting across the city, the city can also be made more attractive. Aside from unused land that might be used for planting, the city's walkways must be lined with trees in order to reflect a stunning image of Amman.

Utilizing alternative energy (solar) to produce the city's electricity as a significant step in protecting the environment and lowering harmful emissions is one approach to grow the city more and more sustainably.

Dubai is a fantastic illustration of this. It is one of the most significant pillars of the UAE's green economy. With its economic, environmental, and social components, it is one of the most significant real estate projects ever developed and founded with the highest sustainability standards.

To sum up, "Green Cities" accomplishes a number of goals, chief among them the production of all food basket staples, social security through the use of young people's energies, and energy security through the use of renewable energy sources.

When will the Jordanian capital of "Amman" become a "green city" is the subject that is being discussed at the government table in general and at the Amman Secretariat table in particular. Most nations are moving toward making their capitals and major cities "green cities."
