The Scottish government has announced that it plans to hold a discussion on its future strategy towards independence from the UK in March.
Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon tweeted on Sunday that the Scottish National Party plans to discuss this at a special conference on March 19, setting out the government's path towards independence.
Britain's Supreme Court recently ruled that Scotland could not hold a referendum without the approval of the British government, which means freezing plans for the Scottish government to hold an independence referendum next year.
