Citizens are victims of the complexities of official correspondence "Water".

We were addressed by the Prime Minister, and follow-up is not our responsibility.

The approach followed in many correspondences between ministries and the Prime Ministry is still slow and lacks follow-up, and many, many important correspondences related to the conditions of citizens are still locked in the drawers of the fourth without the slightest movement by the departments operating there, which would follow up on these communications.

In the details, two years ago, all the residents of the Al-Masharee area in the Jordan Valley complained about the lack of water and access to their areas that did not enter the organization until the moment due to unknown reasons, which forced them to address the Ministry of Water during the assumption of Dr. Mutasim Saedan Ministry, who in turn formed a committee to stand and follow up the residents of Al-Masharee, which in turn addressed the Prime Ministry to find a solution to what the residents of the region face, but the address is still locked until the moment in the drawers of the Prime Minister without the slightest Follow up.

Al-Anbat contacted a number of citizens in the area, who explained that approximately 60% of the population who do not have access to water communicate with the owners of non-potable water tanks to provide them with water, noting that the owners of these tanks resort to neighboring water springs to fill their tanks and provide residents with water for a fee.

Citizens explained that the water that the owners of tanks provide to the population from the springs is the most prominent cause of infection and spread of a number of diseases, such as kidney disease, given that it is contaminated and unfit for human consumption, as well as the springs that are not subject to control by the concerned authorities, stressing that all this is due to the laxity and apathy of the Ministry of Water and the Prime Ministry in following up on citizens' complaints and finding solutions to them.

This scene is not new to us as followers of the procedures and correspondence that take place between government institutions and the Prime Ministry in terms of speed of completion and real follow-up, which in the end only harm the poor citizen who does not leave a door without knocking on it in order to obtain his rights.

In turn, an informed source in the Ministry of Water confirmed that a committee was previously formed to discuss the problem facing the residents of the projects who live in areas outside the boundaries of the organization, and the committee addressed the Prime Minister, but the latter has since reserved the content of the address due to its need to amend many laws and regulations, stressing that the ministry is not interested in following up the correspondence in the event that it reaches the Prime Minister.
