The Egyptian Public Prosecutor's Office ordered the preservation of papers in the death of Jordanian actor Ashraf Talfah after investigations and inquiries were concluded because there was no criminal suspicion in the incident, according to Egyptian media.

The Egyptian Prosecutor's Office also disclosed that the forensic medical anatomy report concluded that there was no criminal suspicion in his death and that it was attributable to the chronic and advanced condition of his lungs, the compounding of severe pneumonia, and the high blood pressure that led to internal bleeding that ended in death.

The anatomical description report had established that the injuries to the deceased's body as a whole did not indicate a criminal suspicion and that it was likely that they occurred during his fall on the ground, transport, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation attempts, and the coroner had confirmed the report's findings in the investigations.

The officer investigating the incident testified that there was no criminal suspicion in the death of the Jordanian actor, so the Public Prosecutor's Office was ordered to keep the papers.

The Public Prosecutor's Office had inspected the deceased's home found on his body; the inspection had not resulted in any signs of violence indicating a criminal suspicion in the incident, and the Public Prosecutor's Office had asked a number of witnesses, including the landlord of the property, the place of residence of the deceased, his brother, and a close friend, whose testimony was not verified by the Public Prosecutor's Office as evidence of any criminal suspicion of death.
