160,000 patients visited Jordan to receive treatment through 10 months

160,000 patients visited Jordan for treatment since the
beginning of this year until the end of last October, an increase of 27%
compared with the same period of last year, according to the President of the
Private Hospitals Association, Fawzi Al-Hammoury, on Tuesday.
He added in his speech to Almamlakah, which is an optimistic
in this current world, noting at the same time that the numbers did not return
as what were before Corona.
Al-hammory showed that Jordan is characterized by performing
delicate operations such as heart and organ transplants.
He make sure that the World Forum for Medical Treatment and
Health Travel focuses on the important of rule of ambassadorial in marketing to
Jordan as a destination for local tourism.
He called to stimulate Jordan's medical sector by reducing
income taxes and sales and facilitating the mechanism of entry into Jordan.
He pointed out for the issue of reconsidering taxes on the
sector is still "suspended".
Health Minister Firas Al-Hawari inaugurated the Global Forum
for Therapeutic Tourism and Health Travel 2022 on Saturday, as regent from His
Majesty King Abdullah II, under the theme "Amman, Arab Capital of
Medicine".
