500 participations of Arab and foreign countries in Launch of the Arab Union for Cement Conference

Minister of Industry and Trade Yousef Mahmoud Al-Shamali inaugurated on Tuesday morning the annual conference of the Arab Union for Cement and Building Materials at the kempinski Hotel in Amman, under the patronage of the High King and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Union His Highness Prince Nayef bin Sultan, and more than 500 participants from brotherly Arab countries and friendly foreign countries participated in the conference.

The Director of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Dr. Nael Al-Hasami, stressed that this conference is a great opportunity to network between Jordanian factories and the Arab cement industry, pointing out that it is an important platform for developing the local industry of cement and building materials, indicating that the Arab region has very huge capabilities and this is what made it a leader in the cement and building materials industry.

He added in private statements to "Al -Anbat" that the Jordanian participation included Jordanian cement factories and some factories related to the cement industry such as chemical and packaging factories and spare parts companies, and this made the conference a great opportunity for Jordanian companies to get acquainted with the Arab industry on the one hand and see the latest developments of global technology related to the cement industry on the other, pointing to the participation of the largest companies in the world to build cement factories and develop the production line in the conference. 

Al Muasron Company for the manufacture of plastic bags, one of the parties participating in the conference told "Al - Anbat",  that it specializes in the manufacture of bluecrystalline bags, which include small bags, wrap bags and jumbo bags, unlike large bags, which reach a load of about 2 tons, and is part of the group of contemporaries specialized in the iron, cement and paints industries.

The representative of the United Arab Emirates Steel Factory explained that the factory participates annually in the annual conference of the Arab Union for Cement and Building Materials, which is a group of building materials factories, including the Emirates Steel Factory, the Emirates Cement Factory, the Emirates Brick Factory and the Dry Morter, in addition to the pipe factories and the  cement paper bags factory.

Cicsa indicated that it operates in more than 60 countries around the world and is a global manufacturer of chain systems for bulk material processing solutions with a focus on round, mechanical and forged steel junction chains, and this is its first participation in the annual conference. 

It is worth mentioning that the annual conference of the Arab Union for Cement and Building Materials is held annually in one of the Arab countries, and Jordan has enjoyed for the second time in the past five years to be held in it .
