"JEDCO" launches a package of programs to support projects

After the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, the Jordan Foundation for the Development of Economic Projects will launch three programs to support various economic projects, which will be submitted electronically, and the process of receiving applications for them continues throughout the year for the first time. These new programs include support for establishing new small and emerging projects, especially for youth in the governorates, in line with The comparative advantage of each governorate, where the Foundation, with government funding over the coming months until the end of the year, will contribute financially and technically in the form of small grants for projects and ideas for individuals or start-up companies that are economically feasible and able to provide the elements of sustainability and employment and work to develop these projects to become an added value to the national economy where they will be Directing more Jordanians towards the option of starting their own economic projects as attractive and viable job opportunities to improve the quality of life and income of the Jordanian family.

The Foundation will also launch electronically a program to support the marketing capabilities of the products of Jordanian companies in various sectors "industrial, craft, agricultural and service for a period of one year from the date of signing the agreement, with the aim of providing technical and financial support for 20 projects with promising marketing and export opportunities to keep pace with international marketing skills and enhance the competition of the national product locally and internationally." Thus maintaining the sustainability of these projects.

In the field of supporting Jordanian exports, the Corporation has allocated nearly half a million dinars, with government funding, for the purpose of supporting the cost of shipping for Jordanian exports of various industrial and agricultural types to international markets, and sharing the shipping costs equally, especially to non-traditional markets, to preserve the opportunities and shares of Jordanian exports in various global markets.
