Head of
Health Computing to "Al-Anbat”: "Hakim” guarantees the confidentiality of the
files of the military patients.
The CEO of
EHS, Eng. Omar Ayesh, confirmed that the company is working on implementing "Hakim”
program to computerize the health sector in Jordan, through more than 20 sites
in various governorates of the Kingdom, the most important is Prince Rashid Bin
Al-Hassan Military Hospital, which has an estimated capacity of more than 500
beds.
He added in
an interview with Al-Anbat that the computerization of the emergency department
and outpatient clinics at Al-Tafileh Governmental Hospital was recently completed,
in addition to more than 200 sites of the Ministry of Health and Royal Medical
Services that were computerized during the previous years in all governorates.
Ayesh
indicated that the work is currently underway to develop plans to empower the
patient medically, as "Hakimi" application was recently launched,
which enables patients of the Ministry of Health to view their electronic medical
files stored on the Hakim system, in addition to launching a monthly drug
delivery service at Al-Bashir Governmental Hospital and soon in the Center Amman Comprehensive Health Service, as this
service will be circulated later to all hospitals and health centers that are
affiliated with the Hakeem program and are affiliated with the Ministry of
Health.
He stressed
that "Health Computing" is working continuously with the aim of
raising the level of health care by modernizing and developing its system and
all its applications used by workers in the public health sector, including
doctors, pharmacists and nurses, so that these updates are in line with the
requirements of the health sector.
With regard
to the technical complaints that "Hakim” program is exposed to, Ayesh explained
that the program does not currently face any technical problems and the
company's management has not received any complaints in this regard, especially
since the updating and development of the program is continuing to avoid sudden
interruptions in the service.
He pointed
out that the enormous pressure on "Hakim” program may sometimes lead to some
technical obstacles for a short time, which is a normal thing that all
technological systems in the world face at peak times and when the demand for
any electronic service increases, and this may happen in any medical system in
the world.
