Bariatric Surgery Association holds its conference on the 24th of this month, in which modern obesity operations are performed at "Al-Kindi"

Bariatric Surgery Association is holding a medical conference under the auspices of The Minister of Health Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, during the period from 24-26th of this month, entitled: "Obesity Disease and Stoutness and its Complications in addition to Modern Treatment Methods” at The Royal Hotel. 

The Assembly Manager said that the conference will discuss over three days everything related to obesity and Stoutness and their negative complications, their effects, modern treatment methods and what the world and medicine have reached in the issue of treatment through more than 60 specialized scientific papers presented by experts in the world of surgery from inside the Kingdom and each of (America, Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Brazil, Turkey).

The Secretary of the association Dr. Mohammad Khreis, said that during the conference a live broadcast from Al-Kindi Hospital to the conference hall for modern obesity operations, regarding broadcasts from Al-Kindi, which is the only center recognized as an integrated center for obesity surgery by The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity.

On sidelines of the conference, a face to face meeting will be held under the auspices of The Minister of Health, in addition to several specialized and qualitative scientific workshops for doctors and nurses, moreover workshops for nutritionists provided by a specialized staff possessing experience, knowledge and specialization in this field.
